ReplyDeleteThanks for checking in, Tom. I'd give anything to go back in time and hear you guys playing together at the Rock Inn!
DeleteI would like to contact Jack if you would have a emaqil add or phone#..The last time I had contact was when he was living in Greely Colo.. Bring back the "Nightcaps"..I'll try to check this blog more often..Thank you in advance for any info..
DeleteSincerely,
Tom Pritchard
Former base player for the "Nightcaps"
Unfortunately, I can't locate him either. Maybe someone who checks out this post can tell us where he's at these days.
DeleteBought a tape recorder from a Jack Herbst outside of Seattle WA in 1980. I remember him mentioning playing with the Fireballs (another Norman Petty/Clovis NM-associated band). Must be the same guy - I'd never been able to corroborate his association with the Fireballs. I also seem to remember him saying that he'd c0-written "It's My Party" though that didn't check out, unless it was under a different name. Nice guy!!
DeleteDoes this look like Jack? (in Colorado)
